Canker Sore

rica. I have not seen that been sold for many years now. One day as I was chatting wtih my sister, she brought up her friend would use Aspirin paste for her canker sore. So I looked up this remedy on the internet and turns out this is an age old remedy that has been used by quite a few people and recommended. I tried it. Made some aspirin paste apply to the wound. Surprsingly, my pain was lessened almost immediately. The wound healed quickly as well in about 2-3 days. I have never been able to cure my canker sore with any over the counter medication. Later on, when I was visiting my dentist for a routine checkup, she noticed my canker sore and gave me a prescription to "Oracort". A dental paste to heal the wound and numb the pain. This is good stuff. But it can only be prescribed not bought over the counter which is a hassle. It does the same thing as the other pastes, form a seal on the wound and not allow bacteria to enter the wound. Therefore, would would close up very quickly. This usually took about 3 days to heal. Heals faster if you put more applications of the product. Just ran out of Oracort to my horror and this time I have a bad bad canker sore. it is located underneath my tongue. very very painful. I just squeezed out what I could out of the oracort tube which is mostly gone. Then went through my bags to find my bottle of aspiring. All of a sudden, i was very relieved. I know for sure now I can lessen the pain and cure it quickly. Just need to pound the aspirin first. Now, I have a reason to buy a pestal and mortar that I have been eyeing.

Two life savers:
1) Aspiring
2) Good old Pink Pepto Bismol
