Crazy crazy day today. Almost got scammed into paying $800 to replace a car part that I did not need replacing. All I can say is Scammer. These people are scammers. Thank goodness a family accquaitance who is also a car mechanic saved us from this mess. I realized one important thing in life is Knowing the Right people to do business with especially car repair shops. If you find a Good Honest Car Shop be a loyal follower. So glad now I found our True Honest Good Mechanic shop who has the gumption to help me poor little asian girl. Very grateful to them and they tried to make me feel better by joking around and treating me to cookies and coffee. This post is about my First le Creuset Pot so let me get back to the topic. Went to the mall today looked around for cookware, checking the prices of skillets and pots and all the different types of material. Cast iron, aluminum, enamel, stainless steel, t fal...i was so confused. In the end, I went around to all the home stores and finally ended up at Winners. At the pots aisle, I saw my dream pot the "le Creuset". Orange and about 2 1/2 quarts probably. Just the perfcet size. It was only sale for 99 dollars regular price was 150. How could I resist. There were cheaper replica pots however they were not a Le Creuset and they were not made in France. I know this may sound snobbish but this pot is for my first apartment so I would like to get a good quality long lasting pot. I was first introduced to this colorful pot by my roommate who had inherited a le Creuset from her grandma. hers was red I believe. I'd noticed that every time she used the pot it was great for stewing and browing. The color was vibrant and it had a French rustic look to it. So now I am a proud owner of a Le Creuset. Hmm..if only I could add to my collection. Now I need a Cast Iron Grill Pan and a Skillet and a Stainless steel pot.
